Child Labor Out, Higher Wages In

In many countries, children are used as the main working force. This is because they can be paid lower wages which allows for more workers and what is seen as more progress. There are many reasons to be against child labor. I myself am against child labor to an extent. Some families require the youth of the family to work and help provide for income because the wages for the adults are low as well. This report argues that the wages set for adult workers should be higher so the children would not be forced to work in order to bring in sufficient money. Then if the children do not need to work, they would be able to get an education that could give them a better and wealthier future. Do you think that it would be better this way? How difficult could it be for countries who use child labor to adjust to giving higher wages?
