Sierra Leone Gives Hope to the Helpless

In Sierra Leone, women are given a chance to have safe and secure pregnancies. In this country most women do not have the amount of money that is needed for the procedure needed for safe birth. Many women have had to give birth to their children in their homes which leave them in danger of improper healthcare as well as the endangering of the new born. Stats show the GDP per capita which is $900, yes just $900!
Now the government of Sierra Leone has acknowledged the amount of newborns that die due to the lack of affordable healthcare and they have removed all fees for the necessary procedures. This is a great help especially for the children as the death during birth is insanely high. How do you think that this will change life in Sierra Leone? Do you think this will negatively affect the overall already extremely poor country's economy?
