Indian Teenager held in Jail, Illegally

In India, a teenager by the name of Umar Farooq Shaikh was detained on February 3rd. He is still in captivity to this date, after being charged with rioting and many more acts related to riots in the past two years. Although the charges are in effect, detaining him was illegal. The Public Safety Act had made it completely forbidden to detain anyone under the age of 18. After Umar's arrest, a local court immediately sent out an order for his release but the officials holding him would not release him. He has been more than three months in detention illegally. Amnesty International is asking for help to give him justice and free him in encouraging people like us to send appeals to officials in India pushing for Umar to be freed.
