Sudan's Unjust Imprisonment of their Citizens

South Sudan Arbitrary Detentions Dire Prison Conditions

In Sudan, many people have been subject to unjust imprisonment. They are stuck in Sudanese prisons without even a conviction or any charge placed on them for many years until a judge finally gives them a trial in which they do not even have a lawyer to assist them. This is a huge problem as the victims of this are not only adults as they range from elders down to newborns whether directly or indirectly.  For example a baby losing his parents through imprisonment leaves him or her in a horrible state. Sudan currently does not have any type of judicial aid system to help out the detainees either. How do you think this can be fixed? Where has this been seen before? You might want to check out the article to get ideas for what can be done to stop this.
