Children Sent to Life without Parole

In the United States, there has been a lot of children imprisoned to life without parole. This happens all around the 50 states but international law finds it to be illegal to imprison anyone for life in jail without chance of coming out if they are under eight-teen when they commit the crime they are being charged with. Sadly, the United States, one of the countries that fights for human rights, is doing this. There now seems to be some hope. A woman Christi Cheramie was imprisoned at 16. Now she is 33 and now having her clemency plead considered.  This would be one of the first times this happens. Do you think it will bring more clemency pleads? If you want to help her out submit a Take Action report on Amnesty International.
